The “Chiari & Scoliosis & Syringomyelia Foundation” has collaborated and is collaborating to organize meetings for the patients affected from \u201cThe Filum Disease\u201d. These meetings have been held in Spain and in different European countries such as Italy and France, with the aim of disseminating the FILUM SYSTEM\u00ae<\/sup> and its results.
\n
\nIt is also collaborating to organize the upcoming meetings in several countries in Asia and America, in addition to those planned in European countries.
\n
\nThe Foundation continues to support different research projects that are being carried out for the benefit of those affected by the different diseases of the Neuro-Cranio-Vertebral Syndrome that make up the “Filum Disease”.
\n
\nAlso fulfilling its objective of social assistance, economic contributions are being made to help some patient in covering up the surgical expense , in cases of evident need. These contributions can be made more frequent and of greater importance depending on the availability and economic liquidity of the Foundation, which will depend on the donations from individuals and organizations, and grants from official bodies (which has not happened since its foundation until now).
